The Abyss welcomes any and all submissions. The Abyss has two forms of publication currently, both in digital online pdf format (read by Adobe Reader). These are Cenotaphium, an online monthly journal, and The Abyss Sourcebooks. The Abyss is an adult organization and its material is not meant for children, please keep this in mind with all submissions & don't hold back. NOTE: The Abyss does not accept submissions in pdf nor will it provide you with the master copies for you to present your work.

By submitting to The Abyss you agree to let The Abyss present your material in line with its design. At any time should you wish submitted material that has been accepted to be removed, please contact The Abyss. The Abyss stands by those who contribute and will defend them in any case of copyright infringement by other groups seeking to print without artist permission. In this case, The Abyss will act as legal liaison.

Cenotaphium:
Cenotaphium accepts anything written to do with Kult, whether poetry, short fiction, NPC's, PC's, scenarios, your thoughts on the Kult cosmology, whatever you can think of. There are some rules to be kept in mind, however.
• No defaming. The Abyss will not accept work that promotes slander of existing persons.
• Submissions are welcome in any text based format that is not justified within a publication.
• The material submitted should be about Kult and should be your original work.
• There is a ten page A4 restriction. If you have a work of fiction longer than that, please consult the guidelines regarding Sourcebooks.
• The Abyss is currently accepting regular columns for Cenotaphium. If you have a column in mind you would like to discuss, contact The Abyss.

Sourcebooks:
The Abyss presents Sourcebooks with less regularity than the Journal. If you have an idea regarding a sourcebook, please contact The Abyss with your proposal. We will do our best to help & arrange an artist to work on the project. The Abyss places a higher level of editorial excercise over Sourcebooks, and while nothing will be changed, poor grammar, spelling will slow down the process. Please keep this in mind, an editor can be arranged for Sourcebook based works.
• We currently see a sourcebook of 20 pages or more. Smaller may be accepted on quality, but is determined at the time.
• Submissions to be made in the same format as Cenotaphium.

ARTIST GUIDELINES
The Abyss is always looking for original & dark artists to help with interior illustrations and covers. In short, we accept all static image-based formats that can serve as interior illustration. Sourcebook graphics are developed closely with the text and random submissions are not welcome for this. We use all unsolicited images expressly for Cenotaphium. Interior images should not be more than 800x800 pixels. Cover images are accepted only in the size: 790 width x 1162 height in pixels. Submissions for covers are preferred in .bmp or .tif
